Savannah Chrisley is ensuring a loved one's memory lives on.
One month after her ex-fiancé Nic Kerdiles died at the age of 29 in a motorcycle accident, the reality star shared a sweet tribute to social media honoring Nic.
Over an image of Nic smiling at a dinner table, Savannah wrote on her Oct. 23 Instagram Story (via People), "Can't believe it's been exactly 1 month since we lost you..."
"Today we bought ham and cheese croissants," she continued with a picture of her 10-year-old niece sitting on Nic's shoulder as the two hold up peace signs. "And Chloe goes: 'I only like these because Nic would always order these.'"
She finished on a final slide, over a video of the late NHL retiree, "I know you're looking down laughing right about now. We all miss you... #IfICouldGoToHeavenForADay."
Nic's death on Sept. 23 was confirmed by police to local Nashville TV station WKRN, who reported his accident.
Savannah—who was in a relationship with the real estate broker for five years, becoming engaged in 2018 before breaking up in 2020—also penned a moving message about Nic shortly after his passing, reflecting on their time together.
"Nicolas Henry Stephan Kerdiles… I wish you could see all the people that are showing up and loving you right now," the 26-year-old wrote on Instagram Sept. 24. "You left such a mark on this world and it's so empty without you."
She continued, "I had just turned 20 when we met, you were only 23, we were just kids learning about life and love and trying to make it all work. We had some really great, bright moments, and we had some really hard ones, but the part of our relationship I will hold on to will always be the moments in the middle. Just because some things don't work out, or don't last forever, doesn't make them less special or less meaningful. We learned how to love together."
