During her time as a WAG, Taylor Swift has shown that football fashion never goes out of style. She rocked a sophisticated red coat to Lambeau Field and supported Erin Andrews' Wear brand at Arrowhead Stadium in one of her first games cheering on beau, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce.
The pop superstar's latest outfit at Gillette Stadium featured a fun beanie hat. The accessory was white with a red stripe, fluffy brown pompom and had Kelce's No. 87 stitched on the brim. The beanie was designed and made by Kat Cacho, the social media manager for The WestSide Storey, a vintage shop in Kansas City where Swift's team has purchased team gear for her to wear. For the game against the Buffalo Bills, she wore a red and black sweatshirt from the shop.
Cacho chronicled the story of how she designed the beanie on the TikTok for her own business, Kut the Knit. She recorded herself crocheting the hat with her cat in the background. Swift is a feline fan and posed with her own cat for her TIME Person of the Year cover.
"The me in this video didn't ever think what I was making would actually make it on Taylor Swift's head," Cacho said in the opening caption of the video, which has Swift's "Is It Over Now?" as the soundtrack.
She said that The WestSide Storey was sending out a shipment and she hoped it was for Swift.

"I knew I wanted to make her something as a gift in the package," she said. "Even if it wasn't her, I thought at least maybe it would go to a fan or someone on her team."
Cacho said that she considered adding yellow, but didn't have the right shade to match the Chiefs' colors. She said she debated which number to put on the beanie, perhaps No. 13 or No. 89, which represent Swift's birthday and birth year. Ultimately, she decided on Kelce's number to avoid any confusion.
Then, the beanie ended up on the popstar's head after all.
Swifties did what Swifties do and ordered an incredible amount of beanies from Cacho's online store. So much so that she said she's no longer taking orders until she can get caught up. Hopefully fans have a cozy cardigan in the meantime.
