Kid Rock teases Republican National Convention performance, shows support for Donald Trump

Thursday marks the final day of the 2024 Republican National Convention in Milwaukee, where former President Donald Trump will take the stage to formally accept the nomination as the Republican candidate for president.
Notable speakers at the event will include Eric Trump, Tucker Carlson, Mike Pompeo, Hulk Hogan — and Kid Rock? The singer-songwriter announced on social media Thursday afternoon that he had just landed in Milwaukee to support Trump, who he referred to as the "tried and true, red white and blue, 100% American (expletive) president."
"What's (going to) happen tonight?" he teased in the video, while sporting a National Rifle Association baseball cap. "Tune in to find out. But here's a hint — are you scared?"

Is Kid Rock performing at RNC convention?
Rock is not listed as a speaker in the convention schedule, but videos emerged on social media of the country-rock singer rehearsing a Trump-themed song on the convention stage at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee.

Kid Rock supports 'great friend' Donald Trump
Rock has been an explicit supporter of Trump since the 45th president’s first term in office. As previously reported by The Tennessean (part of the USA TODAY network), the artist routinely refers to the former president as a "great friend."
Recently, the Grammy-nominated singer donated $50,000 to a GoFundMe organized to support the families and victims of the shooting at a Trump campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13.
Following Saturday's assassination attempt, Rock posted an eight second-long video to X in which he stated, “If you (mess) with Trump, you (mess) with me.”

Trump will deliver his keynote address on Thursday evening at 9 p.m. Central Time.
The convention will also be available to stream on the following channels: YouTube, X, Facebook Live, Rumble, Amazon Prime, Twitch and Direct TV, according to an RNC spokesperson.
