Beyoncé and Jay-Z last year made the biggest real estate move compared to other musicians.
According to a research by real estate experts at Agent Advice, the power couple topped the chart of biggest property transaction of 2023 within the music industry after purchasing their Malibu mansion for $190 million in May.
Designed by Japanese architect Tadao Ando, the extensive compound spans more than 8 acres. It offers a private beach, an infinity pool and Zen water features, along with many other amenities.
The estate is now the most expensive home ever sold in California, and the second-most expensive home sold in the country.
Grammy-award winning rapper Drake trails behind Jay and Bey on the list, listing his Beverly Hills mansion for $88 million.
Rod Stewart, Cher, David Guetta and Jennifer Lopez were also amongst the top celebrities with the biggest real estate deals of 2023.
The Carters have worked very hard, expanding their music careers to business and beyond, and their latest real estate venture seems to be a reflection of that.
